Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre for Elderly (ADRC) was initiated as a pilot project by the National Council of Social Services in 1980. The Association Apex Clubs of Singapore (https://www.apexsg.org/), with the support of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMM) adopted the project, which is now managed by the FMM Sisters.
The Centre provided day care services initially to the frail and disabled elderly, before expanding to include rehabilitation services in 1993.
ADRC was Singapore's first elderly day care centre. Thanks to ongoing support from the government, benefactors, and volunteers, the Centre has been able to grow and expand its offerings.
The centre is open to Singaporeans or Permanent Residents, regardless of race or religion. Pre-admission evaluation to apply.
Operating hours are from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays, and closed on Saturdays and public holidays.
