The year 2023/2024 at ADRC has been a journey filled with excitement and challenges. Despite staff departures, we have embarked on new initiatives, driven by the unwavering leadership of Centre Manager Sister Marjorie and our dedicated team.
We are excited to announce major renovations, funded by the Ministry of Health (MOH), to enhance our facilities for elderly clients, staff, and volunteers. Over the next few months, we will be upgrading electrical systems, toilets, kitchen, and therapy exercise areas. These improvements are aimed at elevating senior care and the overall well-being of our elderly community.
Additionally, we are digitizing medical records to streamline operations and integrate with the Agency of Integrated Care (AIC).
Our community festive celebrations, field trips, and events for the elderly, supported by various organizations and donors, have been true highlights of the year.
Our annual fundraising project, the ADRC Flag Day, organized by the Apex Clubs of Singapore and supported by ADRC staff has successfully raised S$17,000.
In honour of our dedicated staff, we have awarded 3 long service awards to those who have been with us for over 10 to 15 years.
ADRC’s journey has been guided by our mission to provide exceptional care for our elderly community. As we continue to evolve and grow, we remain deeply grateful to all our supporters, volunteers, related government agencies, and partners for their unwavering support and collaboration.
